Brazilian National Team confirmed for the FIFA World Cup.
The Brazilian national team is called up for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar . In search of the long-awaited sixth golden star, coach Tite announced the 26 players who will defend hopscotch at the Worlds.
The novelty this year is the addition of three names compared to the last tournament, when 23 players were called. In the current list, 16 players will compete in the World Cup for the first time.
Among the more experienced, the highlight is Thiago Silva, who is going to his fourth participation in the main competition in the world.
In office since 2016, the coach of the Brazilian National Team has only five defeats in 76 games – 58 wins, 13 draws and 5 defeats – he had the entire World Cup cycle to test and choose the best set for the competition that starts on the 20th. November with the match between Qatar, the host team, against Ecuador.
The Brazilian debut is scheduled for November 24 against Serbia. The five-time world champion team is in group G, which also includes Cameroon and Switzerland.
Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino has removed from the squad. Aston Villa attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho will also be unfit after a hamstring injury in training this weekend.
With the 26 players defined, the Brazilian team starts training for the World Cup on November 14 , in Turin. The coaching staff, led by Tite, travels on Saturday, November 12 , to Italy. The trip to Qatar is scheduled for the 19th, five days before the opening match against Serbia.
